My Top Three Photos & A Little About Me!
CPR 6080 is one of a handful of SD40-2s still wearing this scheme. On one of my few trips to Brownville Junction, ME, I had a chance to shoot it myself. This is one of my personal favorites, the uniqueness and oddities are the best!
If you've ever checked out my Instagram, you'll know I posted this to one of my favorite rock songs. It fits the photograph so well! But aside from fitting music, thos train wields three 4-axle locomotives, two being former Pan Am Railways. Making this one of the hardest sights to see in the entirety of Maine.
Here's a good one, It's not often the hand off of railcars from one train to another is in an accessible space, or in good lighting. Fortunately here both were in my favor! Catching these two trains rolling side by side down the track as the February sun is hinting at warmer months!
I got into photography on my 12th Christmas, when my mother wrapped up a camera as a gift for me. Right away I was obsessed, I took it everywhere with me! I began photographing trains, one of my proudest hobbies that has helped me evolve and adapt my photography skills. Fast forward five years and here we are, I have photographed nearly 1,500 trains, and an upwards of 5,000 photos of every corner of Maine!
